Spartacus Blood and Sand

I have been watching this show from Netflix, Spartacus Blood and Sand. I have been interested in historical dramas. A glimpse of the past.

I am grateful I live in this era. It is extremely disturbing how human life was treated at that time,  how it seemed normal to just slaughter people especially that of they called “slaves.” As gladiators fought for their lives, people cheered for blood!

“Your lives are your own. Find your own path…”

Spartacus: Blood and Sand is the title of the first and most critically acclaimed season of Spartacus, a television series that premiered on Starz on January 22, 2010. The series was inspired by the historical figure of Spartacus (played byAndy Whitfield), a Thracian gladiator who from 71 to 73 BC led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic

    • You are watching it too?! I just started the 3rd season! People were harsh huh. I am glad people have evolved. Somehow improved???! It is so gory and morbid! I can not believe I am watching it. I also watched Vikings before. They’re all the same. I can’t imagine how life was before. We are so much blessed to be here now.
