The tides go up and down
The storms come and go
Everything is just quiet now
Steady and still
Nothing much to write about
Just saying everything is fine
Hope you will be blessed too
With peace and time to feel…
I have not been writing for a couple of days now. I have been busy thinking and doing a lot of things and also preparing for my 7 year’s old upcoming birthday celebration.
My mind, heart, soul, and spirit are doing all they can to be on its best condition. Our journey goes on! I am wishing you all the best in your endeavor, may it be on writing or on something else.
I will write soon! And I can not wait to have more time reading your posts!
It is just not writing about your feelings and thoughts that help you realize something and learn more about yourself.
I find comments, feedbacks, inputs from fellow bloggers very helpful! We do not know them personally so they tend to give you a different perspective. They are most likely not bias or subjective.
One good thing about blogging.
You gain new insights and even new friends….
Good day!
This is about my life.
It means I will be writing for a long time.
Many years from now I will still be here
You will hear about my journey, my adventures
You will know when I am up or down
We will get to know each other more…
I will definitely say goodbye if I will quit blogging
This writing will only end when I pass away
So I look forward to us growing old together
Have a good time learning from each other
Getting inspired everyday
I have 60 more years to write…
I was nominated by: https://inkingthethinking.wordpress.com/ for a free style writing challenge.
So here are Rules I had to follow (copied from AdiC’s) :
GOOD LUCK!
Here’s what I wrote in five minutes for the word WINE!
WINE. Wow this is really a great time to talk about it. Since my hubby and I are now trying to be wine experts. We just bought like different wines and we are trying to experiment on them. We are learning how to differentiate the taste. So far, I would say I am enjoying the sweet wine. I like it sweeter than dry. I tried Stella Rossa, (Blanco, Stella Rosso), Moscatto, Sweet red wine. Wow, I enjoy it with a meal. I feel dizzy after drinking but it feels great. I say sometimes it can be relaxing. One good way to end a busy or stressful day is a glass of wine. Is it true that it is good for the heart too??? Writing about it makes me want to have a glass. But it is just 12 noon. And I will have to pick up my son from school. I do not want a Policeman pulling me over. But it would just be a small glass. Maybe I should sip. I will try the sweet one we keep in the fridge. This is because of this challenge. Hahahaha! Well, enjoy life, love and laugh. Thank you so much for thinking about me and challenging me. I thought it was fun and exciting….
Time taken: 5 minutes
Number of words: 212
And my nominees would be :

Have a great day!!!!
My dear dad and step mom called me on the phone. I was very glad to hear from my dad. He was very ill last year, and now he undergoes kidney dialysis. He is so much better. My heart was leaping for joy to hear his voice especially when he said, “How can I forget this day?”
My mother and sister called me using Facetime. I was very happy to see them too. I usually think of my mom on my birthday. I know the pain of giving birth! Kudos to her!
My brother, his wife, and my nieces greeted me too. They updated me of the good news happening in their lives. I am happier to know that they are doing well in life.
My best friend, Larmee emailed me saying she screwed up with her birthday surprise. She said she put my email address instead of hers in the billing notification for whatever surprise that she has for me. I was clueless until she sent me that email. That way, she screwed up with the surprise. Not a surprise anymore!!! hahaha!
I do not use Facebook anymore so there is no reminder to everyone that it is my birthday. So I truly appreciate the people who exerted effort to text me instead or leave me messages saying their warm wishes. And for those who are not good with remembering dates (just like me), I know they will greet me once they remember or find out! Not a problem with me!
This morning my two kids were singing me a birthday song. These human beings who literally were a part of my body, who came from me… It is music to my ears to hear them sing.
After dropping off my son to school, I invited three of my friends to join me for breakfast at home. I was happy to be with them. A company of good friends is really valuable.
Tonight, my family will just eat out. So no cooking dinner for me today!
I decided not to run on the treadmill, not to do the laundry today. I will sit back and relax. I lit up a candle on my altar and said a prayer. Actually, I just said THANK YOU.
I do not own fancy things. Remember I am Miss Thrift Shopper! And I do not need expensive stuff as gifts. Family, friends, peace of mind, quiet time are the BEST GIFTS ever! Indeed, these are priceless. I will never trade for anything in the world.

And of course, I would like to mention all the bloggers who sent me their birthday wishes too. You are all strangers but we are all connected to each other and have something in common here….WRITING. I truly appreciate your time and your kind words!
God bless us everyone! Keep blogging, Keep inspiring!!!
There are so many things to write about. Don’t you agree?
There are too many choices if you will just look around.
We can write about our feelings and emotions,
What made us happy, what made us sad
What frightened us, and what made us mad.
We can write about our thoughts, ideas and opinions
Of how things and people should be,
And how you see the world as it is.
We can write about different places
The wonderful and beautiful places we have seen and we like to see
Write about our dreams and fantasies,
Everything and everyone our hearts long for.
Even the unpleasant experiences turn out to be inspiration
The unlikable people may drive us to write
Just be aware and listen to your heart
You will know what to say
You will know what to write.
I wish I have more time to write and read your blogs.
I promise I will devote a day to just reading
Keep writing
I can not wait to hear your thoughts and feelings
To learn new things
To see the other side of the world
To realize that I am not alone
That we are going through the same things
For we are humans
You are all my brothers and sisters
We are all pilgrims in this journey of life
Be happy and celebrate being alive!
Carry on : )
I wish I have more time
To sit in front of my computer
To click on these keyboards
To type in the words
My mind and heart dictate
I will sneak out from time to time
Got to attend to Mama duties
The day is still long
As well as the night
My eyes will be open
To the beauty of life
I surely will come back
I will share to the world
