Write Down Your Thoughts to Become More Mindful and Consciously Aware

This was an article by Simon Moesgaard-Kjeldsen. I personally like this because it describes how I use writing in my life. I mentioned to him since I was a teenager, I noticed I was dependent on writing down everything: things to do, things to buy, and writing about my experiences. After two decades, I still do the same. If I don’t write them, I forget things or I feel so lost. It keeps me on track. Writing really helps a lot. I am just not sure if it works for everyone.

  1. Hi there!
I’m glad you found my article insteresting. Luckily, it is super easy to write things down with a computer or a cell phone, so why not do it? Some people argue that it makes our memory worse if we do because we don’t “train” it, however, we also learn and remember things better when we write them down by hand, which this study suggests http://pss.sagepub.com/content/early/2014/04/22/0956797614524581.abstract
    Best wishes,
    Simon
